Whether being exploded under the ocean, suspended by a balloon, shot from a cannon or even detonated in space, these weapons are capable of devastating destruction - the quality of these images is as startling as are remarkable.Director/producer Peter Kuran traveled throughout the U.S. to locate footage, and many scenes were restored with an Academy Award winning process created to make the footage look new. Kuran has perfectly preserved these haunting images for generations to come.The film's music (composed by William Stromberg) was performed by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, symbolizing the end of the cold war. The score was later used in some trailers for the X-Men movies.
