Backed by Tito, who approved the majority of film scripts himself, directors had free rein to destroy real bridges and blow up the military's tanks. They could also draw their cast from the country's national army with some soldiers serving their entire tour duty as extras.Featuring the bittersweet memories of those involved in Tito's ambitious plans, this documentary explores many of the movies made during that time, including the nation's most expensive film, The Battle of Neretva.Produced by Dribbing Pictures.
