Just a few trees and shrubs are around the animals. A real desert dweller the Long Eared Hedgehog is a nocturnal animal but also uses the cooler times of the day for hunting insects.Leaf-cutter ants carefully select good looking leaves, cut off a healthy portion and carry it home.Musk oxen molt their wool every year but the guard hairs keep growing and on adults it can drag along the ground. In only in a few places on earth, like the Norwegian tundra, musk oxen still roam freely.
