The Big Wet is the chronicle of a particular wet season in the tropical north. It starts with the last days of the Dry in September and concludes with the first fires in April. For the Salt-Water Crocodile and Magpie Goose it is a time to breed; for Agile Wallabies and other small marsupials it can be a time of stress as they are forced to find shelter from the flood. Featured throughout the film is the majestic scenery of Kakadu and Arnhem Land.
