When the brilliant scientists at MIT got to work on it they found literally hundreds of uses for radar from aiming gunsights to identifying ships at sea. And the radar systems got smaller and smaller until they could be carried in the fuselage of a ship or in the control room of a submarine. -- All DVD Extras joined to the film, includes interview with Radar Engineer Sir Edward Fennessey --
