Escape To The Chateau: Series 2
Dick Strawbridge and Angel Adoree continue their renovation of a French chateau, 18 months after the end of the first series.
Pig Roaster
So far, only nine rooms have been renovated and many areas of the 12-acre estate have yet to be looked at - but the project is going to have to start paying for itself soon. They make plans to host weddings on the grounds, while looking ahead to keeping livestock and growing their own crops. Dick takes steps to generate solar power during a hot summer, and turns an old oil tank into a pig roaster.
Elevator
Fresh from the success of hosting a three-day wedding at the chateau, Dick and Angel make business plans for the grounds, intending to charge people to fish in the moat and forage in the woods. Angel starts work on a second guest suite, but also wants to install an elevator, which pushes Dick's engineering skills to the limit.
Christmas Time
Dick Strawbridge and Angel Adoree await the arrival of their guests, who are expecting a luxurious Christmas at the chateau. Dick continues work on installing the lift, but the project tests his ingenuity to the limit, while Angel finds more valuables in the attic, including a collection of vinyl records.
