Some of his most famous paintings are "The milkmaid", "View on Delft", "The guitar player" and "The girl with the perl" are icons and classical examples of his excellent handling of light. Michael Gill is on his tracks, telling about the scientist Vermeer, who experimented with the Camera Obscura and the perspective, tells us about the cartography and the meanings, to piece together all informations about this silent citizen of Delft to a real genius.
