The change comes after Japan's Fukushima nuclear disaster and 30 years of anti-nuclear protests by residents. The key to phasing out nuclear power lies in renewable energy such as wind power and solar energy. Because of this, the government is conducting numerous tests. Business leaders, however, desire stable pricing and a secure power supply, so are pushing for continued operations. Explore the situation in Taiwan after the decision to phase out all nuclear power.
