His signature move is the so-called "Lightning Kote." He flings into the opponent's arms at the perfect timing and gains a point. It is the skill Nishimura, who is rather short as a kendo competitor, polished to win. But now he always attacks and wins without retreating. This is quite opposite to his previous style. He decided to change his style when he saw the victims of the Kumamoto Earthquake he rescued. We followed him spending days on a thorny path trying to master kendo without regret under the pressure of winning for 2 consecutive years.
