It then crosses the Irish Sea to Dublin for a bracing encounter with the coastline of Northern Ireland.[edit] Southport to Dover This return journey starts in north-west England, heads north to Scotland and the Outer Hebrides, then leaps across to the Shetlands. It then returns down the east coast of Scotland and back into England concluding in the south-east, at Dover.
